Apanemi, the tradition continues
Since taking over Michaloukos in 2002, Apanemi has remained deeply connected to the sea, the people of Moutsouna, and the authentic spirit of Naxos. In those early years, the eastern coast of the island was still quiet and untouched, shaped by local fishermen, small boats, and the simple rhythm of everyday island life.
Fresh seafood arrived daily straight from the bay, often caught by local fishermen and our own boat, preserving a tradition rooted in freshness, hospitality, and respect for the Aegean. Over the years, Apanemi became more than a seaside restaurant — it became part of family memories and summer traditions. Guests who once visited as children now return with families of their own, continuing a story that has grown naturally beside the waters of Moutsouna.
